WatchMyBack on WordPress

Since yesterday, WatchMyBack24 has been hosted on the WordPress plugin repository. Yeah.

CommentMailer-0.1.1 released

We released the version 0.1.1 of our comment notifier plugin “CommentMailer”.

It fixes the problems with the WordPress version 2.5. We also released a new project’s homepage:

WatchMyBack24-0.7.5 released

We released a new version of our SPAM fighting plugin “WatchMyBack24” for WordPress weblogs. This version is nescessary for the WordPress version 2.5 and higher.

We released the second major release of our social network concept called “Liloo.de”.

Spamattacks

Nice! A Spam-bomb exploded on our weblog 24stunden.de and more than one thousand spam comments hits our weblog in a few hours. Very, very nice! Now we’re able to develope new SPAM-fighhting algorithms for “WatchMyBack24” ;)

CommentMailer released

We released an early version of the CommentMailer - plugin for WordPress weblogs. It’s a small WordPress plugin that notifies readers of incoming comments to their subscribed posts. All subscribers are managed by a database table created on the first run of the plugin.

SpamFighting: WMB24-0.7.4 released

We’ve released a new version of our spamfighting WordPress plugin “WatchMyBack24″. It’s a smaller release as its previous releases but it’s necessary. Let’s take a look at the CHANGE.LOG:

Recent24: Coming up next

Okay, what’s coming up next? Probably a new major version of the “Recent24” - plugin. Let’s look at the CHANGE.LOG:

Dec 15th, 2007:

• changed: triggers changed for dynamic/static-RSS-embedding
• new: a documentation of how to use the implemented methods is added to the GUI

Arcor muss Google nicht sperren

Besser spät als nie und es sei der Vollständigkeit halber erwähnt: Das Landgericht Frankfurt am Main hat entschieden, dass der Telefon- und Internetanbieter Arcor die Internetseiten von Google.de und Google.com nicht sperren muss. Die Huch Medien GmbH wollte vor dem Landgericht eine einstweilige Verfügung gegen Arcor erreichen, nach der Arcor verpflichtet gewesen wäre, die Suchmaschinendienste aufgrund erheblicher Diskrepanzen mit dem Jugendschutzgesetz hinsichtlich pornografischer Werke zu sperren. Dies sah das Gericht anders: Laut der 3. Zivilkammer hielte Arcor nicht selbst pornografische Bilder und/oder Schriften im Internet bereit, sondern biete lediglich den Zugang an. Noch im Oktober hatte das Landgericht Arcor verurteilt, das Angebot der Internetseite youporn.com wegen fehlender Altersverifizierung zu sperren. Auch in diesem Fall bietet Arcor lediglich den Zugang, nicht jedoch selbst die Inhalte der Pornoseite an. Tobias Huch, Geschäftsführer der Huch Medien GmbH, kündigte Beschwerde gegen die Entscheidung an.
